What is included in the charter fee?
Port taxes, port fees in Turkish waters (excluding private marinas), entry and exit operations in Turkish waters, fresh water, bed linen, 110 nautical miles cruising per week, usage of air conditioning in air-conditioned boats (the duration of usage might change depending on boat), crew, yacht insurance.
What is excluded in the charter fee?
Harbor taxes and mooring fees in Greek waters, the meals, soft drinks, drinking water, alcoholic beverages and airport transfers and land excursions. Insurance does not cover your own personal travel and cancellation insurance. Greek waters entrance fees and Greek islands harbor fees will be paid to the captain on board if cruising around Greek islands.
Can we visit the Greek Islands?
If there is no general legal obstacle or restriction, we can plan tour programs for you covering any of the Greek Islands. Port charges, entry and exit formalities in the Greek Islands are not included in the price.
Can we plan our own blue voyage itinerary?
It is possible, by considering average 110 nautical miles cruising per week.
Can we start or end our blue voyage at different ports?
It is possible on condition that you pay the price difference may be charged. The price difference depends on the distance between the start and end ports of the blue voyage.
What is the embarkation and disembarkation time to the yacht?
Boarding time is from 17:00 on all tours. Disembarkation time is at 10.00 after breakfast on the last day. Then, the boat starts getting ready for our new guests.
Can we bring drinks from outside to the yacht?
You can bring drinks from outside to the yacht. It will be served by our crew.
Can your chef cook and prepare special diet meals?
Upon your request, changes are possible on the menu. Special meals can be cooked and prepared according to your wishes, provided you inform in advance.
Is it allowed to smoke on board?
Smoking is not allowed in the saloon and cabins for health and safety reasons. It is allowed to smoke on the deck by considering boat safety.
Can we take our baby and children with us to the yacht for the blue voyage?
You can also bring your baby or children for Private Charter. But the responsibilities belong to the charterer.
Can we take our pets with us to the yacht for the blue voyage?
Pets are strictly not allowed in accordance with the rules on the boats. However, it might only be possible with the special permission of the boat owner and the captain.
What should we bring with us?
High protection sun lotion, hat, protective lipstick, sun towel (it is available on most of boats)… Since not allowed to wear shoes on board, you should only bring sports shoes or walking shoes that you will wear on land tours; you may also bring shoes for night outs too. The clothes you bring should be suitable for day and night temperature changes. If you are allergic to bee, fly bites and pollen, we recommend that you bring your necessary medicines with you.
Should we bring snorkel, goggles and flippers with us?
Although they are available on our boats, we recommend you to bring your own special snorkel and goggles.
Do we have to pay tip; if yes, how much?
Generally, tips are given to the captain to be shared among the crew. The tip amount can be around 5% of the price you pay for the charter. Whether to tip or not is entirely up to you and to your satisfaction.
What do we have to know about to get sea sick?
You should consider your previous experiences about it. However, it is not common to get seasick. Our gulets / yachts are very spacious and comfortable. Except for harsh weather, they do not shake much while cruising. If you have a problem with seasickness, this problem can be easily overcome by the light tour programs we can recommend, the carefulness of our crew and the plan of the cruise according to the weather conditions.
Should we have insurance before the blue voyage?
All of our yachts are insured and third parties are covered. If you wish, you can get personal accident, health and travel insurances.
Can we use our electronic goods on the yacht and how can we charge it?
Electronic devices are charged with 220 volts of electricity. 220 volts are available on almost any boat. But unfortunately, it may not be available on some boats. If you inform us about this request in advance before the tour, you will be assisted.
How many crew members are there on board?
The number of personnel varies according to the size of the boat and the number of cabins. All gulets have a crew consisting of at least one captain, cook and one deckhand. Luxury gulets / yachts have extra crew including stewardesses.
How safe will we be on the gulet / yacht against Corona / Covid-19?
In order to protect our guests, we are limiting their social contact by checking the health histories of our crews and ensuring that they stay on the gulet / yacht. The crew's temperature is checked daily as a preventive.
Our gulets / yachts are disinfected after the guests leave. Our crew cleans for hours every day to provide a clean and sterile boat for our guests. From guest areas to crew areas, every part of the boat is cleaned to the highest hygiene standard.
