Local Knowledge, Personal Journeys
A private yacht holiday is about more than selecting a yacht and drawing a route on a map. The yacht, destination and pace of the journey should all reflect the people travelling.
At Gulet Point, every charter begins with a conversation rather than a standard package. We want to understand who you are travelling with, what you expect from your time on board and which details will make the experience feel right for you.
We then bring everything together, from yacht selection and itinerary planning to dining preferences and special arrangements. A genuinely tailor-made charter should not ask guests to fit into an existing programme. The journey should be shaped around them.
Gulet Point was established in Marmaris in 2008, at the centre of one of Türkiye’s most established yacht charter and Blue Cruise regions. Since then, we have planned private yacht holidays along the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts for guests from around the world.
Being based in Marmaris allows us to understand the yachts, crews, harbours and cruising areas through daily operational experience. We look beyond photographs and technical specifications to consider how a yacht feels on board, how the crew delivers its service and how the itinerary works in practice.
Gulets remain an important part of our expertise and our privately operated fleet. However, our service is not limited to one type of yacht. We consider different private yacht options according to each group’s travel style, priorities and budget, focusing on the combination that best supports the experience they want.
The right yacht is not always the largest, newest or most extensively equipped option. It is the yacht that best suits the way you want to spend your holiday.
A family travelling with children, friends planning a celebration, a corporate group and a couple seeking a quiet honeymoon will naturally have different priorities. Cabin distribution, deck space, crew service, dining arrangements, water sports and the overall atmosphere on board can all shape the character of the journey.
Instead of presenting the longest possible list, we first learn about the group and its expectations. We then create a focused selection of yachts that genuinely match the request.
A tailor-made yacht charter involves more than deciding where the yacht will cruise. The daily rhythm, meals, activities, time ashore and special arrangements should feel like parts of the same journey.
Some guests prefer quiet anchorages, swimming and relaxed days on board. Others want to combine the coastline with historic towns, local restaurants and nearby Greek islands. Honeymoons, family holidays, celebrations, corporate retreats, friends’ getaways and wellness journeys each bring their own priorities.
Menu preferences, dietary requirements, arrangements for children, water sports, transfers, special occasions and experiences ashore can all be considered during the planning stage. We assess what is practical for the selected yacht and cruising area, then coordinate the details around the agreed charter.
A well-managed private yacht charter depends on many details that guests may never need to see.
Embarkation arrangements, transfers, cabin allocation, guest information, menu planning, special requests and itinerary preparation must all be coordinated before departure. Our operations team follows the process from the initial reservation through to embarkation and the completion of the charter.
We communicate directly with captains and crews so that expectations are understood clearly. As weather and safe navigation will always influence the final programme, we design balanced itineraries that can remain flexible when conditions require it.
To us, professional service means more than confirming a booking. It means helping guests understand what to expect and remaining available when support is needed.
Our private yacht charter programmes cover distinctive cruising areas along Türkiye’s Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, including Marmaris, Bozburun, Datça, Bodrum, Göcek, Fethiye, Kaş and Kekova.
For suitable yachts, Rhodes, Symi, Kos and other nearby Greek islands may also become part of the itinerary, subject to cruising permissions and port formalities. The best route, however, is not the one with the greatest number of stops. It is the one that creates the right balance between charter duration, yacht capabilities and the guests’ preferred pace.
Share your dates, group details and the kind of holiday you have in mind. We will help you compare suitable yachts and shape a journey around your expectations.
