Information we collect
- Enquiries and contact forms. When you send us a charter enquiry or message, we receive the details you provide: name, email address, phone number, travel dates, group size, preferences and your message.
- Direct contact. If you email or message us, we receive what you choose to send, including attachments.
- Log files and analytics. Like most websites, our hosting records standard technical data: IP address, browser type, internet service provider, date and time, referring and exit pages. This is not linked to your identity and is used to administer the site and understand how it is used.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare charter proposals.
- To operate, maintain and improve the website.
- To communicate with you about your request, including by email.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
- To send news or offers only if you have agreed to receive them; you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the website and email, under appropriate safeguards: our web hosting provider (Hostinger), our email delivery service (Brevo), and, where enabled, analytics providers (e.g. Google). We may also share your requirements with the yacht owner or crew when needed to fulfil your charter.
Legal basis (GDPR)
We process your data to take steps at your request before a contract (answering your enquiry and preparing an offer), to perform a contract, for our legitimate interests in running and securing the website, to comply with legal obligations, and, where required, with your consent.
Cookies and web beacons
We use analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, and Google Ads to measure whether our campaigns lead to enquiries) only if you accept them in our cookie banner. Where you have not accepted, Google may still receive anonymous, cookie-less signals that do not identify you, and you can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
How long we keep data
We keep enquiry details for up to three years after our last contact, and then delete or anonymise them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure, to object to or restrict our processing, and to receive your data in a portable format.
