Itinerary · Turkey
The longest and most varied route on this coast: a week that runs the length of ancient Lycia, from Göcek's sheltered gulf to the sunken ruins of Kekova and back.

The map is provided by Google and loads only when you choose to show it.
The voyage
The opening days pass through familiar Göcek anchorages — Boynuzbükü, Bedri Rahmi Bay, Tersane Island — before the route crosses Fethiye Bay, calling at Gemiler Island and within sight of Kayaköy’s abandoned stone houses.
East of Fethiye the character changes. Kaş and Kalkan cling to the cliffs of the old Lycian shore; Kaş keeps a Hellenistic theatre that still faces the open sea, and both towns reward an evening ashore.
The turning point of the week is Kekova. Earthquakes in the 2nd century dropped part of the ancient town of Simena below the waterline, and the ruins are still visible through the surface as the gulet drifts along the shore. Above them, the castle at Kaleköy holds a tiny theatre carved into the living rock. Lycia itself deserves a footnote: its league of cities formed the earliest known federal democracy, cited centuries later by the framers of the American constitution.
The return west allows stops the outbound leg missed — Ölüdeniz among them — before the week closes in Göcek.
This is a sample itinerary rather than a fixed daily schedule. The captain may change the order of stops according to weather, sea conditions, berth availability and the needs of the group.
For guests who measure a charter by how much it holds, this is the fullest week we sail. Request a charter early; high-season dates on this route go first.
