Sail For…
One last trip before the next chapter begins.
Overview
Bring your closest friends together for a few days or a full week on a private gulet. Swim in quiet bays, enjoy long lunches on deck and plan the route around relaxed days, lively evenings or a balance of both. The celebration feels personal without following the usual party formula.
A pre-wedding trip does not have to follow the usual villa or nightclub formula. A private gulet gives the group its own space, crew and route, with days built around swimming, long lunches, music and time together. The celebration can be lively without losing the relaxed character of a week at sea.
The right yacht depends on more than guest count. Cabin distribution, deck space, music facilities, water toys and the group’s expectations all matter. We clarify these points before recommending a gulet, helping the organiser avoid surprises once everyone arrives.
The group wakes together in a quiet bay, spends the day in the water and gathers again around the same table for dinner. There is no need to coordinate taxis, separate accommodation or daily meeting points. The private setting makes the experience feel personal, whether the plan is mostly relaxed or includes a few more energetic evenings.
A gulet also gives the group several ways to spend the day. Some guests may use the water toys while others stay on deck, visit a coastal town or simply recover from the night before. The itinerary provides structure without requiring every guest to do the same thing.
Bodrum and Marmaris suit groups that want restaurants, bars or beach clubs before or after quieter days at sea. Gocek offers a more relaxed environment with short passages and many sheltered bays. Selected Greek islands may be possible for suitable yachts, subject to permissions, customs and additional expenses.
A realistic itinerary will not promise a different beach club every day. Distances, berth availability, weather and the yacht’s route must be considered. We instead plan a balanced week around the places that matter most to the group.
Send the final rooming list before choosing the yacht, particularly where the group requires single beds or twin cabins. Confirm any priorities such as a strong sound system, water sports, nightlife, decorations or a special dinner. Included equipment and policies vary between gulets.
Celebrations must remain within the yacht’s rules, licensed capacity and the captain’s safety requirements. Outside visitors, DJs, professional suppliers or additional staff cannot be assumed and require advance approval. Clear expectations protect both the atmosphere of the trip and the booking itself.
Frequently asked questions
Can we play loud music on board?
Music is generally possible within the yacht’s facilities, local regulations and consideration for other boats. Volume may need to be reduced in anchorages, particularly at night.
Can we bring decorations or arrange a themed dinner?
Often yes, provided the concept is approved in advance and does not damage the yacht or interfere with safe operation. Supplier access and charges vary.
Can extra friends join us for one day or evening?
Only with prior approval and within the yacht’s licensed capacity. The confirmed charter guest list should not be changed informally.
Which destination is best for a livelier trip?
Bodrum and Marmaris offer the easiest access to restaurants, bars and energetic evenings, while the itinerary can still include quieter bays during the day.
Are food and alcoholic drinks included?
Inclusions depend on the charter agreement. Food, beverages, service format and any alcohol arrangements must be reviewed in the specific offer.
